Sarah is a Registered Member of the BACP.
Warm, compassionate Sarah believes that everyone deserves a space to be heard, understood, and accepted just as they are. Her own journey led her to counselling after seeing how powerful it can be to have someone really listen — without judgement, without rushing to fix things, but simply being there alongside you as you find your way through.
That’s what Sarah aims to offer her clients: a calm, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Her approach is grounded in the Person Centred, but she can integrate her therapy by drawing from different types of therapy to suit each person’s unique needs. Sometimes that might mean talking things through; other times, using creative methods to express what’s hard to put into words.
Sarah works with adults, children, and young people from the age of 11 upwards, and has experience supporting people through many of life’s challenges — anxiety, stress, depression, loss, identity, low self-esteem, or difficulties at work, school or in family life.
Sarah has experience in supporting women during life’s transitions including menopause.
For Sarah, Counselling is about connection and growth. It’s about helping you make sense of your experiences, find new perspectives, and move forward feeling more grounded and at peace.
How ever you come to counselling, you’re welcome here — this is your space to talk, reflect, and begin to heal.
“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.”
