Hi, my name is Andrzej, I am a solution focused hypnotherapist trained at the Clifton Practice School of Hypnotherapy. My background is as a scientist, but my passion is people and how to support them in their journey towards mental wellbeing and health. My ethos is that “we need not suffer” there is help out there! The first step is to reach out and ask for help.

Hypnotherapy is a talking therapy. It is a powerful, gentle and safe way of helping you make positive lasting changes in your life. It can help with developing a positive, resilient, confident, forward focused mindset with wellbeing at its heart. It can also help alleviate some of the wellbeing challenges such as anxiety, depression, anger, low mood, fear, panic attacks, phobias, stress, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD) , phobias, over-eating, sleep problems, work stress, social anxiety etc.

The techniques I use are a mixture of hypnotherapy, Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) as well as other change work strategies such as the Sedona Method etc. But at the heart of my practice is the clinically based solution focused hypnotherapy (SFHT). SFHT is based on scientific investigations into how we use our brain to process the world around us. Using this knowledge SFHT helps you get back into balance, so that you have a health perspective on the events in your life.

A little bit about hypnosis: Hypnosis is something very natural, we do it all the time when we watch a movie, or go for a run or drive a car. It is a relaxing experience similar to daydreaming and feels enjoyable and very ordinary. Throughout the process you will feel relaxed, alert and above all in control.

The first session is a free 1 hour consultation where we will get to know each other a little. I’ll explain more about what hypnotherapy is, how the brain works, from a SFHT perspective, how we create anxiety, depression, etc. and what we can do about it.
