My name is Charlotte and I am a qualified person-centred counsellor, with experience of working with adults, children, and young people. I have specific experience working with clients who have experienced trauma, bereavement, and loss as well as people who struggle with anxiety, depression, addiction, post-traumatic stress and more.
I offer a compassionate and confidential space in which to support you in finding your own way forward in coping with any challenges or difficulties you may be experiencing. Experiencing trauma can affect everyone differently. You might feel scared, anxious, angry, disappointed, ashamed, all-consuming loneliness, or all of these and more. Your story is unique to you, and we work at your pace, not mine.
In addition to working in private practice, I also work as a counsellor and suicide liaison worker for a BACP registered charity offering support for anyone affected by suicide, bereavement, and domestic abuse. I have previously volunteered for an Oxfordshire school working with children and young people experiencing anxiety, depression and eating disorders. I also have experience in working with neurodivergent clients with autism and or/ADHD. I have previously worked with adults for a Wiltshire charity working with a broad range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma, both long and short-term.
